The CEEL’s geophysical and hydrodynamic drilling probes are listed below.
The QL40 series (Quick Line 40 mm), distributed by ALT (Advanced Logic Technology), is unique in that it allows for the combination of tools. This enables multiple measurements to be taken in a single well in one step. These probes can also be deployed individually.

Outside of industry, only the GFZ in Potsdam, the BGR in Hanover, and the University of Aachen (all in Germany), the University of Lausanne or ETH Zurich (in Switzerland), the USGS (Denver, Colorado), Columbia University (LDEO, New York) or Stanford University (California) in the USA, are equipped with similar resources for non-combinable tools. The recently acquired set of small-diameter “combinable” tools makes CEEL a benchmark in Europe and among the top 10 in the world.
