Fullfilled works
- thin sections covered for optical microscopy observation (transmitted light)
- polished thin sections for observations and analysis with optical microscopy (transmitted and reflected light), scanning electron microscopy (imagery, EBSD, ..), electronic microprobe and ionic microprobe. The polishing protocol used is described in this document (french).

Differents formats (in millimeters) of thin sections can be produced :
- 24 x 27 (ionic microprobe, polished sections), 30 x 45, 60 x 45, 60 x 80, 45 x 120, 130 x 180

- others formats (in millimeters) possibles on request (available on LP 40) : 60 x 90, 80 x 90, 90 x 120, 60 x 130, 80 x 130, 50 x 150, 80 x 150, 90 x 150, 130 x 150
Special work is also handled on request. Priority is given to Géosciences Montpellier and DESTEM Teaching Department.
It is possible to carry out classic or specific work for external people, requests will be studied on a case-by-case basis by manager and technical staff.
