Platform of the Rare Gases sub-network of REGEF network
The Geosciences Montpellier Rares Gas platform (GRGM) is part of the Rares Gas Spectrometry network of the INSU’s French Geochemical and Experimental Network (RéGEF).
GRGM is also part of the ThermoNet network, a low-temperature thermochronology network that brings together the 6 low-temperature thermochronology centers in France.
For many years, GRGM has offered its users the analysis of argon and helium isotopes for the purposes of geochronology and low-temperature thermochronology. Recently, GRGM has developed 40Ar/39Ar dating of clay minerals and is the only platform to offer this capability nationwide.
